Teaching Assistant - Post 1

Supporting a pupil with medical needs (training provided) Level 1 TA

16hrs p/w (12 hours core + 4 hours flexi) term-time only

Hours required: Wed 8:45 – 12:15, Thu 8:45 – 15:30, Fri 8:45 – 15:30 (including lunchtime cover)

Experience of working with children with special needs within a school environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. However, your enthusiasm to help our special needs children to learn through support and encouragement is essential.

Initial fixed term contract for one year with possibilty of extension.

Teaching Assistant - Post 2

Supporting a pupil with special educational needs Level 1 TA (Level 2 considered with relevant qualifications)

10hrs p/w (10 hours core + 2.25 hours flexi) term-time only

Hours required: Mon 8:45 – 13:15 (including lunchtime cover), Tues & Wed 8:45 – 15:15, Fri 13:00-15:15 (negotiable)

Experience of working with children with special needs within a school environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. However, your enthusiasm to help our special needs children to learn through support and encouragement is essential.
